Do not use articles that are already on your site to use for article marketing. This is not good for your rankings as Google can confuse it for duplicate content. The best practice is to write a new article to use for article marketing. Most people use either ArticleMarketingRobot or UniqueArticleWizard, I’ve used both and they both have pros and cons.

Article Marketing Tip #1

A simple strategy that is use when submitting articles is to always pick 3 keywords that I want to rank at a time. I always send one backlink to the homepage and then I send the other backlinks to 2 subpages on the website that I also want to rank. By working on 3 different keywords on 1 website at a time it allows me to build the website up in different searches. Most people just send the keywords only to their homepage. Always try to rank for 3 keywords minimum when building article backlinks.
