Meta Discription

Usually directly below the Title of a ranking page in Google you will see a short write up about the page, this is the Meta Discription. Google will generate one if you haven’t written one yourself. Meta Tags are not as imporatnt as they used to be. A visitor will not see what you have tagged your page as but the search engines will. H1 Tag

This is good for the readers but search engines also use it to sort webpages. It is always good to include your keytword at least once in an H1 Tag. If you look at the top of this article in the source code or right now you will see that ‘Perfect On Page SEO’ is within an H1 Tag.

H2 Tag

H2 Tag is just like a smaller version of H1, don’t repeat the first keyword. Try to be creative. I’ve put On Page SEO Must Do’s within an H2 Tag.

I’m all for making a quick buck with a simple repeatable process. When it comes into investing and buying stocks I’m from the value investor school. So many books and stock investing “gurus” try to mystify what is actually a very simple process. I’m not saying that investing in stocks is easy, what I’m saying is that finding undervalued stocks is easy.

What is the difference?

Investing in stocks is actually quite difficult, you have to completely understand the market direction then the direction of the sector in and of itself. Just because a company is making money doesn’t mean that the stock will also rise, this is also true vise versa. I’m too young to remember the late 90′s of stock trading but I hear horror stories of internet stocks that had never made a dollar rising over 800% before crashing down into penny stock status. Finding undervalued stocks is different then speculation or stock investing, undervalued stocks are for the long run of your life usually. You buy undervalued stocks because it is from a company that is well known and safe but the stock price happens to be at a bargain.

Undervalued Stocks Criteria

To find constant streams of amazing stocks I use the stockscreener by FinViz. These are the settings that I use when trying to find an undervalued stock.

Market Cap > 100
P.E < 7
Debt Ratio < 0.2
RSI < 40

I’m not going to go into detail about what each of these terms mean, you don’t know what these terms mean you probably shouldn’t be investing in the stock market and should instead pick up Stock Investing for Dummies (No Offense).

Market Cap is the first thing I add to any stockscreener because it lets me separate the big boys from the little companies. There is no bargain if the company doesn’t even do much business. A company that has broken the 100million a year mark is doing pretty good for itself.

P.E. is price to earnings, this is one of the easiest ways to know if a stock is trading at value. All the classical value investors use 13 as their highest number but I like to cut it even more and go for lucky 7.

Debt Ratio is also important because it lets you know just how much debt the company has. I don’t set debt ratio to 0 because it doesn’t give an actual picture of a real company. Even the biggest players in the world have some debt because there are some tax advantages by issuing debt.

RSI is Relative Strength Index. I won’t go into it but RSI is a very reliable Technical Indicator that when combined with these Fundamental Indicators, it becomes a deadly combination.

This may seem like a very simple way of how to find undervalued stocks and trust me it is. But this will really narrow down the field of stocks that have value. Warren Buffet is one of the worlds richest individuals and he will constantly reinvest more money into stocks he already owns when they reach the requirements I wrote about. There is an ebb and flow to the stock market and if you can find when big companies are trading at a value that is a real strategy to success. Just don’t expect massive gains by using a strategy like this.

Now that I fully understand the process of making money online I know that knowing How To Get Backlinks and proper keyword research are the best things to work on. Once you’ve built up a list of keywords that you think you can rank for, all you have to do is build the site and start sending links over. Getting backlinks is the most boring part about making money online. Link building is tedious and time consuming. You have to start seeing linkbuilding as an investment on your online properties. Just as you hire a writer, you have to start thinking about hiring a link builder. I use LinkPushing, Article Backlinks and Bookmark Backlinks to send relevant anchor text links to my websites.

How To Get White Hat Backlinks

Once you are a bit familiar with niche sites you know you have to build links to the site to rank it in Google. If you are trying to lets say rank for “Tomatoe Soup” then you would need to send links over to your niche site saying “Tomatoe Soup”. The problem with looking for links is that you run into so many different companies hawking the same deals. 5000 Links for $5 is just one of the deals you should stay away from. Companies selling you links for pennies a piece will put your site into a bad link network and you will eventually have to build White Hat Links to get the site back into Googles graces. There are only 2 kinds of links to choose from, Black Hat and White Hat. Xrumer is Black Hat and LinkPushing is White Hat.

Black Hat Links:

These links are usually built completely from spamming programs. A popular program out there for Black Hat links is XRumer. XRumer is a software that allows you to build thousands, if not millions of links to any URL you choose. The way XRumer builds links is by signing up to forums and creating false profiles that then place a URL and ‘Anchor Text’ within the profile. The problem with links and all Black Hat techniques like these is that once a search engine like Google finds your network, your site will be slapped, or de-indexed at worst. Google is very smart and will know if it’s you are your competition that is flooding your site with bad links.

Having a website slapped is having it fall in rankings a couple hundred spots. I’ve had 2 sites of my own slapped in Google and it isn’t fun seeing all your income go with it. I stay away from Black Hat Links for the most part as I will later explain. The speed at which Google finds your links is far to quick with Black Hat Techniques. Using Linkwheel Backlinks is the best way to drip feed backlinks to your site and not get noticed in the wrong way.

White Hat Links:

White Hat Links come from locations and sites that are legitimate sites that are moderated for spam. Most of the links you receive from using White Hat methods are from sites that Google already trusts. Google ranks sites by giving each site a ‘Page Rank’. You have to get HIGH PAGE RANK WHITE HAT links to rank your keywords in the long run. Black Hat links WILL work in the short term but usually become less effective as time goes on. What used to work in 2001 doesn’t even begin to do anything now.

The most popular way of building White Hat Links is by building  linkwheel backlinks. A link wheel is a circular URL and Keyword network that eventually targets your site from each individual URL. People usually build link wheels using free Web 2.0 properties. If you are building White Hat links by hand you are wasting your time. LinkPushing will build you natural looking link wheels that Google will have a hard time figuring out.

Build A LinkBuilding/Keyword Money System

Making money online is all about building a system where you get more money then you put in. If I spend $500 a month on links, I want my site to make at least $501. I know that once my site is ranking I can just pull back on the link building and will be left with a tidy profit.

White And Black Make Yin-Yang Links

Once you’ve built article backlinks or linkwheel backlinks, then you can start unloading the Black Hat Weapons. You just have to collect all your links that are pointing to your site and then place them in a TXT file. Just send of the the TXT file to a Black Hat SEO service and you will have all the links indexed and seen by Google and Bing.
